Volkswagen’s AutoMotion Maintenance Plan
Available on most of our Commercial Vehicles as an optional extra, Volkswagen’s AutoMotion Service or Maintenance Plans are designed to make sure that even after your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle has left the showroom; it will remain as good as new.
Upholding your Volkswagen AutoMotion Plan
If your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle was purchased with the Volkswagen AutoMotion Plan (VAP), it is important to note that the following procedure must be adhered to in the unfortunate event of an accident:
- The owner/driver must immediately notify the VAP Authorization Unit that the vehicle has been involved in an accident.
- Any damage to the vehicle which may impact on the cost of the maintenance of the vehicle must be reported.
- The servicing and maintenance plan will then be suspended by VAP until such time as an Approved Volkswagen Motor Body Repairer has repaired the vehicle.
- VAP reserves the right to inspect the vehicle before lifting the service and maintenance plan suspension.
- Should the vehicle be written off, the owner must notify VAP in writing so that the VAP can be terminate with immediate effect.
- Volkswagen South Africa has the right to terminate the VAP contract if the owner/driver fails to notify VAP of such accident, and the details of any repairs resulting thereof.
