Design

Every detail in the New Crafter has been taken care of. Sporting the new Volkswagen design DNA that includes a proud new emblem, sleek new lettering and a stylish broader radiator grille featuring widely spaced horizontal lines that commands a serious road presence, the New Crafter looks as professional as it is. And with a loading capacity ranging between 9m³ in the Crafter 35 and 17m³ in the Crafter 50 (with optional super-high roof), the New Crafter can handle any load thrown at it – especially considering a payload of 1,5 tons or 2,5 tons respectively. A 1300mm wide side sliding door and two rear wing doors make loading and unloading even easier.

Inside the cab, you’ll find new robust darker seat upholstery for ultimate durability, an ergonomically revised instrument cluster and control panel, as well as plenty of storage compartments for a professional workspace. Performance

The New Crafter features a choice of two powerful yet remarkably efficient engines: the 2.0 TDI 80kW engine or the innovative 2.0 BiTDI 120kW engine featuring BiTurbo technology.
Both these robust engines come with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ renowned and innovative common rail TDI technology that delivers on both economy and performance.
Great fuel consumption figures, impressive pulling power and increased torque are hallmarks are these engines.
The 80kW engine, delivers 300Nm of torque at a range of 1500 – 2250rpm,
The 120kW engine delivers 400Nm of torque at 1800rpm.
